From the moment I stepped into the dreamy décor reminiscent of a French neo-classical style mansion, I knew I was in for a treat. The symmetric staircases, gilded marble, and Versailles manicured gardens created a perfect setting to spoil myself in luxury.
As I strolled through the majestic atrium, enchanted by the glittering centerpiece chandelier, the sweet sounds of a live harp guided me to the first floor. Here, I stepped into the award-winning World Cut Steakhouse, an exquisite haven for lovers of slow-cooked steaks and indulgent cocktails. The dark wooden interiors, dim glamorous lighting, and luxurious leather upholstery set the stage for an unparalleled dining experience. From Wagyu Beef Carpaccio to Grilled Lobster and a substantial 560-gram Bone-in Rib Eye slice from Queensland Australia, the menu was a true foodie’s paradise.
V Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton:
For a zesty Dubai experience, a grand entry to the stylish V Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton is a must. Arriving in a fancy supercar or landing on the hotel’s private helipad, guests are transported to a sensational Broadway-like world of patterned floors and deluxe party suites. A visit to the warm Level Seven dining lounge offers a hearty meal with live cooking stations and Indian specialties, creating a memorable culinary experience. Dedicated to injecting fun into travel, V Hotel Dubai, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, presented a retro-futurism concept on the bustling Sheikh Zayed Road. Checking in at the 30th floor, I discovered a futuristic hotel with 356 ultramodern rooms, signature round beds, and the Sky Villa surrounded by enticing activities.
The evening entertainment reached its zenith with a jaw-dropping performance of ‘La Perle by Dragone,’ a Las Vegas-style extravagant aqua-themed show. To conclude this exciting evening, a short walk led me to the iconic Tokyo-based Kill Bill Restaurant, Gonpachi, at Al Habtoor City, where the best Japanese cuisine awaited. VIPs and diplomats alike flock to this Izakaya-style dining outlet to indulge in authentically prepared Kushi-style grilled skewers, tempura, fresh soba noodles, sashimi, sushi, and the famous Wagyu, all paired with innovative drinks.
Culinary Gems of Al Habtoor City:
On a balmy afternoon, the Sidra Lounge beckons for a relaxing session of sampling the finest tea blends, delicious pastries, homemade cakes, and live entertainment. The BQ French Kitchen and Bar offers a mouth-watering journey into French cuisine, featuring signature dishes such as Tarte Flambee, Tiger Prawn Linguini, and Duck Leg Confit – perfect for a chic business lunch or leisurely dining.
For those inclined towards sports, Ribs & Brews at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor is an American-inspired haven. Here, an array of burgers is savored while watching live sports, making it a modern gastro bar renowned for its US fare and slow-cooked barbecue ribs. The famous ‘Caveman Burger,’ featuring a 500g cheese-filled beef patty, and the ‘Mac and Cheese Burger,’ a delectable creation with a 250g macaroni and cheese patty, provide an ultimate assessment of one’s appetite.
